At the LKQ Fource distribution centre in Berkel en Rodenrijs, we’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer who’s ready to keep our high‑tech warehouse humming. You’ll be part of a tight TGW team, working closely with LKQ Fource to ensure that one of the most advanced logistics systems in the automotive world performs flawlessly.

What you'll be handling:
- You execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance tasks and electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification
- You ensure high levels of housekeeping, and never compromise on safety
- You support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency
- You complete all necessary reports, including those for shift maintenance tasks, spare parts usage, and toploss, while working in DART and CMMS software platforms
- You continually improve the performance of the equipment through avenues such as toploss activities and design modifications
- You will be resolving complex breakdown situations and actively seek root cause when remedying any breakdowns on TGW-supplied equipment and software
- You attend customer meetings, providing any updates on the automation
- You suggest any continuous improvement activities that will increase the reliability of TGW and third-party assets on site
- You will be coaching and mentoring of Apprentices and Resident Technicians
- You have a flexible attitude and willing to work in 2 shifts from Monday to Friday;
- Early shift from 06:00 - 14:00
- Late shift from 14:00 - 22:00
What you'll need:
- You have at least a MBO-level 3 Engineering diploma with general knowledge of mechanics, electrical and control
- If your MBO-3 diploma is not electrical, you need at least an electrical qualification at a MBO-2 level
- You have previous experience working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment Required
- You are customer focused
- You have ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers
- You have good problem-solving skills
- You demonstrate strong proficiency in both written and spoken in Dutch and English
- You have the ability to work in a time-critical environment
- You are able to work at heights
- You are skilled in reading electrical drawings and fault-finding
What you'll receive:
- A dynamic, open and informal working environment with pleasant colleagues
- Immediate a permanent contract with a market conform salary (14% shift allowance because of the 2 shifts pattern) and 8% holiday allowance
- Travel allowance € 0,23 per kilometre (max. 100 km per day)

- 32 holidays plus extra age days in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement
