Maintenance Engineer - Meko Strängnäs (M/F/D)*
As a Resident Engineer at Meko site, you play a key role in ensuring the seamless technical operation of our customer’s automated site. Together with a team of three TGW Maintenance Engineers, the site is monitored and maintained between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on weekdays, ensuring continuous support and maximum system availability. In this hands on position, you provide both reactive support when issues arise and proactive maintenance to keep systems performing at their best.
Working as part of the on site maintenance team, you share your technical expertise with less experienced colleagues, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and help drive the overall efficiency and reliability of the site. You take ownership of your tasks by completing work with accuracy and professionalism, using tools such as CMMS and DART to document activities and maintain high quality reporting.
What you'll be handling:
- You execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
- You will be doing electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification and resolving complex breakdown situations
- You ensure high levels of housekeeping, and never compromise on safety
- You support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency
- You complete all necessary reports, including those for shift maintenance tasks, spare parts usage, and toploss, while working in DART and CMMS software platforms
- You continually improve the performance of the equipment through avenues such as toploss activities and design modifications
- You actively seek root cause when remedying any breakdowns on TGW-supplied equipment and software
- You attend customer meetings, providing any updates on the automation
- You suggest any continuous improvement activities that will increase the reliability of TGW and third-party assets on site
- You will be coaching and mentoring of Apprentices and Resident Technicians
What you'll need:
- You have an Engineering Qualification, minimum local standard
- You have previous experience working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment
- You are customer focused
- You have the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers
- You have good problem-solving skills
- You are able work in a time-critical environment
- You are able ton work at heights
- You are available to work flexible shift patterns
- You are skilled in reading electrical drawings and fault-finding
- You have strong language proficiency in both written and spoken Swedish and English
What you'll receive:
