Process & IT Consultant (M/F/D)*

As a Process & IT Consultant, you’ll serve as the central link between customers, sales, product development, and implementation. As part of a team, you’ll analyze process workflows, develop tailored process strategies based on requirements, be responsible for IT concepts for material flow computers (MFR) and warehouse management systems (WMS), and play a key role in turning customer requirements into successful end-to-end solutions.

What you'll be handling:

  • Collect, understand and question the customer's processes, material flows and logistics operations to define and specify the IT processes
  • Carry out feasibility studies and risk analyses to prove the developed IT strategy solutions as well as present the results to the customer
  • Act as communication interface between the customer and the Sales, Product Development, Realization and Support departments
  • Assume responsibility for the preparation of calculations and quotes for the IT equipment as well as for functionalities and scope of supplies
  • Assistance during detailed simulation at the beginning of the realisation process
  • Create and update the product documentation

What you'll need:

  • Profound academic education in the fields of Mathematics, (technical) Physics, Informatics or Automation Engineering with IT affinity
  • Several years of job experience, preferably in the materials handling industry
  • An analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as the ability to think in terms of systems and processes
  • A confident demeanor and a passion for collaborating with international clients (willingness to travel: approximately 25%) 
  • Very good command of German and English, knowledge of additional foreign language(s) advantageous

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 54,507 Euro.
