Product Owner R&D (M/F/D)*

Would you like to actively shape the development of innovative intralogistics technologies and form the interface between mechanics, electronics and embedded software? As Product Owner R&D, you will take responsibility for technical inquiries and coordinate the implementation of modifications as well as the further development of our products. With your organizational skills and deep technical understanding, you will ensure clear priorities and efficient collaboration within the product line. In this way, you will make a significant contribution to our solutions setting new standards worldwide.

What you'll be handling:

  • First point of contact in the Storage Technology product line for technical inquiries about existing products
  • Maintenance and prioritization of the backlog for technical modification requests
  • Respective sprint planning with the developers from the disciplines of embedded SW, electronics, electrics and mechatronics
  • Coordination within the department between disciplines
  • Regular communication with adjacent departments and stakeholders
  • Independent processing of individual modification requests
  • Support of departmental development projects from the series transition phase

What you'll need:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a product owner or project manager in the mechatronics and software environment
  • Experience as a lead product developer and/or architect
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art development and project management methods, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Experience with complex projects and distributed development teams
  • Ideally experience with Jira, Confluence and MS Project
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Very good communication skills, reliability, independence and assertiveness

What you'll receive:

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, depending on qualifications and professional experience. The minimum gross basic salary under the collective agreement on the basis of full-time employment is 55,772 euros per year.
