We are looking for a highly driven Project Manager Controls to join our team and take full ownership of the controls scope within customer projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all controls-related activities are delivered on time, within budget, and according to the agreed performance, availability, and quality standards.

What you'll be handling:

 End‑to‑end Order Management

  • Lead the full order process from handover to end of warranty.
  • Ensure adherence to timeline, budget, performance, availability, and quality targets.
  • Take ownership of all permanently or temporarily assigned orders.

Technical & Engineering Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate activities with Hardware, Software and Commissioning Controls teams.
  • Create and manage functional specifications, sensor/actuator layouts, and control designs.
  • Define and integrate controls interfaces with third‑party systems and MFC suppliers.
  • Support commissioning activities both in‑house and on‑site and assist field teams as needed.

Planning & Resource Management

  • Perform assembly‑oriented order planning.
  • Conduct initial resource planning according to the project schedule.
  • Ensure optimal use of the TGW product portfolio and manage deviations when required.

Cost Control & Documentation

  • Handle order controlling (cost calculations, E‑Pot, final reports).
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation, cabinet construction specifications, installation guidelines and procurement documents.
  • Ensure full traceability and a complete documentation handover to the customer and internal teams (e.g., Hotline).

Cross‑functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Installation Services, Commissioning, Process Planning, SCM, Product Development, Applications Engineering and LTS.
  • Participate in customer and internal interface meetings to ensure smooth information flow.

Requirements & Scope Management

  • Translate sold scope into internal requirements (requirements engineering).
  • Oversee and close open points lists throughout the project lifecycle.

Customer Training & Support

  • Organise customer training (agenda, materials, trainers).
  • Provide on‑site support during installation and commissioning activities.

What you'll need:

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Solid technical knowledge: sensors/actuators, controls, electronics, and intralogistics.
  • Good understanding of storage & conveyor systems.
  • Proficiency with relevant tools: Microsoft Office, Navision, AutoCAD, internal TGW tools.
  • Knowledge of realisation workflows (plant engineering).
  • Customer‑oriented, reliable, cost‑conscious, with entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to lead teams and collaborate cross‑functionally.
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Languages: Fluent English, Spanish, and French.
