What you'll be handling:
Development and continuous optimisation of material group strategies for production and drawing parts
Selection, evaluation and further development of suppliers with a focus on quality, adherence to delivery dates and cost-effectiveness
Conducting price negotiations and identifying and realising potential savings
Responsibility for operational procurement: requests for quotations, order processing, order fulfilment and invoice verification
Preparation of offer comparisons and decision papers as part of make-or-buy analyses
Processing complaints and ensuring a smooth procurement process
Working closely with design and product development to integrate purchasing-related topics at an early stage
Supporting and advising internal specialist departments on all procurement-related issues
Active exchange within the TGW Logistics Group's international supplier network
Proactive communication in the event of delays or risks in the procurement process
What you'll need:
Completed technical or commercial training, ideally with further education in procurement
Several years of experience in technical purchasing, especially with technical drawings and manufacturing processes
Confident negotiation skills and strong price sensitivity
Solid understanding of procurement and logistics processes across the entire supply chain
Structured, solution-oriented working style with a high level of responsibility and quality awareness
Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Navision) and MS Office
Strong team and communication skills, analytical thinking, and willingness to quickly learn new topics
