Site Manager (M/F/D)*
Take the lead in delivering high-impact projects as a Site Manager, where you will drive site operations from mobilisation through to project closure and demobilisation. In this pivotal role, you will oversee TGW employees and contractors to ensure all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with planning. You will champion the highest Health and Safety standards while working closely with Project Managers and contractors to plan and integrate installation programmes that meet key project milestones. By driving operational excellence, fostering innovation, and ensuring seamless execution on site, you will play a crucial role in delivering impactful solutions and contributing to the ongoing success of TGW.
Mölndal, Sweden
What you'll be handling:
- You have overall responsibility for Health and Safety, act as a safety representative, and ensure that all TGW staff and contractors adhere to the correct safety standards
- You liaise with the Project Manager on project-specific requirements and ensure that all installations meet TGW’s required quality standards
- You work closely with the Project Manager, Site Supervisors, and subcontractors to plan and integrate installation programmes across all site activities, ensuring milestones are met
- You collate and record subcontractor Risk Assurance Method Statements and attend client coordination meetings
- You hold daily and weekly subcontractor coordination meetings to monitor and maintain project progress
- You act as the first point of contact for First Aid cover and ensure a safe working environment on site
- You write and distribute weekly progress reports, highlighting site activities and any potential delays to the project programme
- You proactively ensure that work overseen by mechanical and electrical TGW site supervisors meets TGW standards and that all installation work is completed, snagged, documented, and fully closed out before subcontractors leave site
What you'll need:
- You have a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification with a Bachelor's or University degree or equivalent
- You currently hold one of the following qualifications: NEBOSH (General or Construction) or the IOSH Managing Safely Certificate
- You have previous experience in a similar position
- You have an aptitude for managing and motivating a site team
- You have working knowledge of CDM regulations
- You are flexible with respect to working hours and able to work away from home in Scandinavia and Europe
- You demonstrate strong proficiency in both written and spoken Swedish and English
- You hold a Heta Arbeten and First Aid at Work qualification
- You have a MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) license
