Solutions Designer - Retrofit (M/F/D)*
Do you enjoy turning customer challenges into smart technical solutions?
Join us as a Retrofit Solutions Designer and help existing customers maximise the performance and lifespan of their automated systems. You'll develop innovative upgrade concepts, evaluate technical options, create competitive proposals, and guide projects from initial idea through to handover.
Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you will combine technical expertise with commercial awareness to deliver solutions that meet customer needs, add long-term value, and support successful project delivery.

What you'll be handling:
- You lead customer opportunities from concept to handover, ensuring solutions meet customer expectations and project timelines
- You analyse customer requirements, challenge decision criteria, and turn data into practical logistics solutions
- You develop and evaluate solution concepts based on cost, performance, flexibility, risk, and long-term value
- You create high-level material flow designs, investment estimates, and business cases for proposed solutions
- You define logistics processes, technical requirements, and scope of supply in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- You coordinate concept reviews, customer workshops, pricing activities, and proposal development
- You ensure solutions comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements
- You support projects through implementation and handover, working closely with engineering and realisation teams to ensure successful delivery
What you'll need:
- You have experience in logistics automation design or similar environments and have good knowledge of mechanics and controls
- You can analyse and understand customer business processes
- You can produce concise and clear customer/internal presentations
- You have great communication and presentation skills, verbal and in writing, in both English and Swedish
- You have a market-oriented mindset (customer benefits before technology restrictions)
- You have a results-, cost-effectiveness-, and solutions-oriented mindset
- You are able to travel within the Nordics and Northern Europe to support the other entities and to work in a multi-disciplinary and intercultural experts’ network.
