Software Engineer III (M/F/D)*

Software Engineer III

The Software Engineer III is a senior-level engineer who works with a team of Software Engineers to design, develop, test, commission, and provide ongoing support of TGW software solutions.  This position provides mentorship and guidance to junior members of the Software team and supports pre-sales concept work and project estimation.

What you’ll be handling

  • Analyzes, designs, develops, modifies, writes, and implements software programming applications for the most complex solutions.

  • Collaborates with developers and functional subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver high quality, successful implementations that meet the customer’s expectations

  • Provides technical direction to the project team in the development, testing, and commissioning of an integrated system project.

  • Writes C# and Java code to meet functional and technical specifications.

  • Writes and executes unit and integration test plans.

  • Performs software functional tests using an equipment emulation model.

 

What you'll need

  • Proven ability to guide engineering resources to complete project tasks.

  • Strong proficiency in object-oriented design principles and programming in C# and/or Java.

  • Thorough knowledge of agile methods and relational database application programming (Oracle preferred).

  • Prior experience with Entity framework and LINQ.

  • Thorough grasp of asynchronous and parallel programming techniques.
