Emulation - Lead Software Engineer (M/F/D)*

We are looking for a Lead - Software Developer (Emulation) to join our Group Emulation Team in Pune, India. This is a hands-on leadership role combining strong technical depth with team mentorship and end-to-end responsibility for high-quality emulation software used in an international intralogistics environment. 

You will design, develop, and maintain emulation software that enables Emulation Builders worldwide to create emulation models for IT commissioning of complex logistics solutions. The role is a key interface between the Pune development hub and our headquarters in Austria, offering significant visibility and influence across projects.

What you'll be handling:

  • Lead and mentor development teams.
  • Take ownership of architecture, technical decisions, and project outcomes.
  • Drive coding standards, best practices, and quality improvements.
  • Balance short-term delivery with long-term architectural goals.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and resolve technical conflicts.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Foster innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration across teams.

What you'll need:

  • Strong experience in C#, .NET, OOP, Windows, WPF, and gRPC.
  • Expertise in Experior (emulation principles and tools).
  • Basic knowledge of Intralogistics/Warehouse Automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Visual Studio, Rider, Git, Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong English communication skills.
