Highlights of LKQ's Solution

Trade, retail, and collision are the key markets in which LKQ Benelux-France specializes in and its reach spans over more than 100 branches, stocking over 180,000 spare parts. LKQ Benelux-France also offers innovative services to enhance customer experiences and faster business growth.

LKQ partnered with TGW Logistics to implement a highly automated fulfillment solution at a new central facility in Berkel en Rodenrijs, supporting its long-term growth strategy and optimizing its supply chain. The project consolidates multiple warehouse operations into a single, state-of-the-art, automated distribution center.

FlashPick System

At the core of LKQ’s new fulfillment center is TGW Logistics' FlashPick system, a high-performance, goods-to-person picking solution designed for speed and flexibility. The system features 10 ASRS aisles with over 180,000 tote storage locations, enabling rapid and accurate order fulfillment.

Integrated with 12 goods receiving stations and 16 PickCenter One workstations, FlashPick forms the central nervous system of LKQ’s fulfillment operations, enabling scalable throughput and optimized workflows.

Stingray Shuttles

To support the demands of high-volume, high-velocity order fulfillment, the FlashPick system utilizes over 200 Stingray shuttles. Energy-efficient and fully automated, Stingray shuttles handle storage and retrieval tasks with precision and speed.

Their advanced design allows for high-density tote storage while minimizing energy consumption, making them a key element in achieving both operational efficiency and sustainability goals.

Lifetime Services

TGW Logistics’ commitment extends beyond implementation with a robust Lifetime Services agreement. A dedicated team of TGW Logistics on-site specialists works alongside LKQ’s in-house technicians to ensure system availability and peak performance throughout daily operations.
