Do you have hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and enjoy bridging the gap between engineering and business? Then you’re in the right place. As a Cost Engineer, you will support the cost-optimized design of products. You will analyze manufacturing costs, evaluate technical solutions from a commercial perspective, and identify cost-saving opportunities throughout the value chain. Working closely with Engineering, Purchasing, and suppliers, you will create transparency around cost structures and play a key role in sustainably strengthening TGW’s competitiveness.

- You actively contribute to the further development and expansion of Cost Engineering at TGW.
- You analyze and validate supplier prices and cost structures using cost breakdowns and cost models.
- You identify cost-saving opportunities for components and assemblies.You support Purchasing in supplier discussions and negotiations with well-founded cost analyses.
- You become involved in development projects at an early stage and support our engineering teams in designing technical solutions that are both cost-optimized and manufacturing-friendly.
- You continuously develop and enhance cost models, cost breakdown structures, and knowledge databases.
- You actively drive cross-functional cost reduction initiatives, making a significant contribution to strengthening TGW’s competitiveness.
要求
- Completed technical education (apprenticeship, master craftsman qualification, technical college, university of applied sciences, or university degree).
- Several years of professional experience in a manufacturing industry environment.In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and production methods.
- Strong technical understanding combined with a keen interest in commercial and economic aspects.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills.High level of initiative, with a structured and independent way of working.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for successful collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel internationally approximately 10-20% of the time

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 53.242 Euro.
