Technical Support Engineer Controls (M/F/D)*

As an experienced Technical Support Engineer Controls, you will be the central point of contact for our international customers and will contribute your comprehensive expertise in control technology to provide optimal support for our highly complex intralogistics systems. Together with a dedicated team, you will ensure that incidents are handled professionally and efficiently – particularly in the area of plant control via remote maintenance access. Thanks to your many years of professional experience, you will ensure smooth operations and contribute significantly to the high availability of our systems.

What you'll be handling:

  • Technical support and consulting for our global customers
  • Analysis of malfunctions and processing of solution variants or workarounds on PLC-controlled TGW systems via remote maintenance
  • Identification and elimination of potential malfunctions
  • Close cooperation with IT support, 2nd level support, development department, PLC commissioning engineers and customers

What you'll need:

  • Sound technical training (FS or HTL) in electrical engineering/automation technology/mechatronics or completed apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer
  • Several years of professional experience in this field
  • Knowledge of PLC controls (preferably Siemens TIA Portal) and bus systems (Profibus/Profinet, ASI) as well as controlled drives; network knowledge is an advantage
  • Good English skills; other foreign languages are an advantage
  • Driving licence (class B) and willingness to travel (approx. 10-20%)

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 47.547 Euro.
