TGW Logistics in Lithuania was founded in 2017 in Kaunas by Vytautas Janilionis and Danas Kreivaitis, who brought the idea of a Centre of Excellence for Engineering to their hometown.
What began as a small team quickly grew, focusing on control, simulation, and project engineering. Over time, new departments were added, including project engineering, simulation, and the Global Controls Services team, supporting projects worldwide.
The Kaunas office is a close-knit team where collaboration and growth are key. We also work with local universities to discover and develop intralogistics talent, ensuring the branch continues to expand and take on new challenges.

Here is an outline of what you can expect when you apply:

You will receive an email from us confirming receipt of your application and a member of the recruitment team will then review your resume, skills and experience against the requirements of the job.
We will always contact you to let you know the outcome of your application. However, you can also monitor the progress of your application at any time by logging into your account.

Every role is different and our selection process will vary for each role. Our Recruitment Team will outline the steps involved at the beginning of the process but you can expect it to look something like this:
- Getting to know you - A member of our Recruitment Team will call you to understand more about how your skills and experience measure up to the job requirements. Remember, it is a two way street, which means the team member will also tell you more about why TGW is a great place to work and answer your questions.
- First interview – Usually a telephone or video interview with the hiring manager to understand your technical skillset and motivation to join TGW.
- Assessment – You may be invited to complete an online technical evaluation relevant to the job you are applying for and/or an online personality assessment.
- Second Interview* - You will be invited into the office in Kaunas to meet your potential manager and possibly some of the team. We will discuss the results of any assessments completed in detail here with an opportunity for both sides to ask questions.
We will let you know the outcome of the process within a few days of your final interview, or give you a timeframe for when a decision will be made if it’s going to take a little longer.
Regardless of the outcome, you will always hear from us personally with the news.
If you are successful, we will discuss the details of the offer with you and let you know what to expect from the onboarding process. If we decide to go in a different direction, we will offer feedback so that you understand the reasons behind our decision.
