On Site Maintenance - Levi's, Dorsten (M/F/D)*

In the Dorsten area, an on-site maintenance team from TGW looks after a highly automated fulfilment centre for the well-known client Levi Strauss & Co. As a maintenance technician in the control room, you will use your technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of the fully automated system and guarantee the highest possible system availability during shift work.

What you'll be handling:

  • Analyze and evaluate system data using PLCs
  • Manage and maintain application and control systems (CMMS, MFC, WMS)
  • Perform maintenance and servicing activities on site-specific IT infrastructure
  • Investigate recurring system issues, particularly within MFC and WMS environments, identify root causes, and ensure sustainable resolution and documentationIdentify and implement optimization opportunities across the entire logistics system
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Support, technical support teams, and on-site customer contacts to resolve complex issues

What you'll need:

  • Completed education in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, IT, or a comparable qualification
  • Solid IT and programming skills, with experience in TIA Portal and PLC environments
  • Initial experience as a maintenance technician or in a comparable technical role is an advantage
  • Willingness to work in a shift-based environment
  • Strong customer focus combined with a high sense of responsibility and ownership
