Systems Technical Specialist (M/F/D)*
As the Systems Technical Specialist based in Västerås, you will support, maintain and enhance TGW's warehouse control systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. By analysing incidents, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing technical expertise, you will drive continuous system enhancements and operational efficiencies.
You will play a key part in training, documentation, and collaboration with internal teams and customers, fostering knowledge sharing and standardisation, ensuring that projects progress whilst also supporting the delivery of a fully operational and high-quality solution.
What you'll be handling:
- You will work with the Customer Support team to analyse incidents that may have been operator-related and look for trends or improvements
- You engage with customers regarding system improvement opportunities and understand their actual goals
- You maintain, review technical documentation and standardise where required
- You support and develop training and training material for end users and internal colleagues
- You lead and support the root cause analysis process when required
- You monitor trends across multiple sites, investigate & propose system improvements
- You support internal Lifetime Services projects and initiatives where required
- You will keep up to date with all new products that are related to warehouse control systems, proposing ideas on how to embed them with new customers and site support teams.
- You will support the sale and implementation of change requests, ensuring requirements are achieved
- You ensure that continuous improvement ideas are spread and known across the TGW portfolio
- You will keep up to date with all releases to the warehouse controls systems within the TGW portfolio and understand improvements to the operation
What you'll need:
- Yrkeshögskola in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and proven commercial experience in a similar role
- Ability to work on own initiative and without supervision
- Experience dealing directly with customers/end users
- Experience with SQL Databases (Oracle, MySQL)
- Materials handling/automation experience
- Experience in writing technical documents
Preferably, you also have;
- Experience with log file investigation and/or software debugging
- Experience in database support or performance monitoring
- Understanding of software development and the software development lifecycle
- Experience with ITIL service management methodology
