We are looking for a Team Leader who can make an impact from day one, be the point of contact for all TGW intralogistics systems and ensure excellent cooperation with our client Picnic. Groceries for more than 150,000 families are supplied, picked and delivered weekly from Picnic's newest distribution centre in Utrecht. The centre is highly automated, divided into 3 temperature zones and 40,000 m2 in size. The automation consists of state-of-the-art material handling equipment. Think advanced conveyor belts, roller conveyors and shuttles. For control, the system uses sensors, scanners and weighing systems. The heart of the design is the shuttle system that can track and load more than 200,000 storage locations in almost 40 aisles.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

As Team Leader, you are the initiator and motivator of your maintenance team.
  • You will help think about new developments and possible improvements to all our technical processes and installations.
  • You will produce reports on the technical condition of the installation in accordance with the contract and KPIs using SCADA, TS, WCS, CMMS and Microsoft software packages.
  • You coordinate maintenance and maintenance plans to be implemented.
  • You coordinate any failures and escalations in the automation systems.
  • You comply with all health and safety legislation at all times.
  • You attend daily customer meetings.
  • You are continuously engaged in improving the performance of our systems.

What you'll need

  • You have completed a relevant secondary technical education and have developed mechanical, electrical and software skills over the years.
  • You already have several years of experience in a managerial role within a service and maintenance organisation.
  • Besides your mechanical knowledge, you also have experience with the use and/or implementation of relevant software tools, such as Siemens S7/TIA portal and bus systems like Can-bus and Profinet.
  • You have excellent communication skills (Dutch and English) and are a good relationship manager.
  • You are able to deal with critical deadlines.
  • You have previous experience in managing a small team in a similar environment.
  • You work in 5 shifts.
