The Production Engineering department is looking for a committed person who will continue to advance the company's existing lean culture as a Lean Manager.
As a Lean Manager, you have professional experience in a production environment and have already led lean initiatives actively. You want to pass on this enthusiasm for lean topics to your colleagues and play an active role in shaping lean management at TGW.
Conceptual and operational development of "Lean Management" in the area of operations in a responsible position
Project management of lean projects and technical management of interdisciplinary teams (spanning multiple departments)
Implementation of agile project management and lean methods for the further development of the Gemba/Lean culture
Conceptual design, organisation and management of improvement projects for production processes
Implementation of key performance indicators to measure the success of lean initiatives and track their progress
Professional coaching of specialists, team leaders and employees
Facilitating workshops and training sessions about Gemba/Lean Management
Audit and coordination function for the lean system (TPS, ...) and benchmarking with other companies
At least 5 years of relevant job experience in a production environment after a successfully completed technical education
Sound training and knowledge of lean principles, methods and tools (kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, TPM / Total Productive Maintenance and continuous improvement processes,…)
Experience in a responsible position, in the company-wide application/implementation of lean principles and methods
Strong analytical thinking skills to analyse data and identify potential for improvement
Highly motivated, winning personality
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and SAP is an advantage
Excellent command of German and English
Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20% of working time)
