Master's thesis "Business Development in Sales Modernization Process supported by AI" (M/F/D)*
Within the framework of this master's thesis, an innovative approach for the AI-supported further development of business development in the retrofit area of intralogistics is developed.
The aim is to use modern data analysis and artificial intelligence to detect discontinued components at an early stage, to derive tailor-made solutions including a budget and to enable a proactive approach to customers. The work helps to make retrofit projects more efficient, data-driven and scalable while increasing customer satisfaction and long-term customer loyalty.
The internship lasts for a maximum of 6 months.

What you'll be handling:
- Conception and development of AI-supported approaches for automated business development and for the automated creation of solutions and budget estimates
- Development of a solution for proactive customer contact based on identified trends
- (possibly) Requests and/or coordination with an AI supplier for implementation
- Analysis and structuring of data (e.g. Power BI) to identify discontinued components and retrofit potentials
What you'll need:
- Degree in AI, logistics, business informatics, data science or comparable
- Interest in artificial intelligence, data analytics and digital business models
- Interest in intralogistics, retrofit and technical systems
- Analytical thinking skills as well as structured and independent way of working
- Ability to prepare complex content in an understandable way (e.g. for management presentations)
- Initial knowledge of data analysis (e.g. Power BI, Python, SQL) or the willingness to learn the ropes quickly
- Good knowledge of German and English

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary under the collective agreement, based on full-time employment, is € 2,948 per month.
