Electrical installation Supervisor

As the Electrical Installation Supervisor you will key member of the TGW NE Controls Team with involvement in the successful delivery of TGW NE projects.  In this role, you are responsible for the coordination and supervision of the Electrical Installation and Control System Commissioning.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

  • Acquisition of basic knowledge about the respective construction site and the project (schedule, layout, contract with the electrical installation company, customer requirements, etc.)
  • Coordination of the electrical installation and commissioning with each other and with the upstream and downstream trades and systems to be integrated, e.g. Third-party machines, fire protection gates, etc.
  • Coordination, management, and logging of regular coordination meetings (COMC, electrical installation contractor
  • Monitoring the electrical installation concerning quality and compliance with the contractual and normative requirements
  • Participation and representation of the control area in the construction meetings called by the customer or the construction management
  • Collecting and sharing information
  • Monitoring the progress of the electrical installation and commissioning. Verbal or written  reports on the progress of the work and active identification of deviations from the planning
  • Recording and approval of director hours of the electrical installation company
  • Keeping a list of open points of the electrical installation company and monitoring the timely processing
  • Detection of disabilities in the control area as the basis for any claims against third parties
  • Keeping attendance lists about the employees of the electrical installation company and the commissioning team
  • Conducting safety instructions for the electrical installation company and the commissioning team employees. Monitoring compliance with safety regulations on-site
  • Organization of any customer-specific instructions, issue of access documents etc.
  • Clarify the exact mounting position of e.g. Control cabinets, boxes, consoles, etc. with the customer
  • Takeover of TGW electrical parts and controlled handover to the electrical installation company
  • Management of the spare parts of the commissioning package
  • Detect faulty components and submit the error report in Word
  • Support drive commander tests, performance tests, TÜV inspections, etc.
  • First escalation level on-site for the Controls area, if necessary further escalation to the responsible TGW site manager or the Project Manager Controls depending on the topic
  • Participation in ongoing maintenance and improvement of the implementation processes and the necessary documents
  • Training of new, assigned employees
