Manager of Electrical Engineering (M/F/D)*
The Electrical Engineering Manager leads a team of engineers responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and controls for integration projects. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, drives innovation, and supports cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
What you’ll be handling
- Manages and mentors a team of Electrical Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Performs personnel management duties including, but not limited to: recruiting, training, scheduling, performance management, compensation management, etc.
- Oversees electrical engineering activities supporting multiple projects from concept through go-live and manages onsite electrical logistics and handover to electrical installation.
- Oversees implementation of all red lines and final documentation of controls systems.
- Guides the electrical design, power distribution, and safety compliance of controls systems, reviewing and approving schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Ensures all electrical designs meet applicable codes, regulatory requirements, and TGW and customer standards.
What you’ll need
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Controls-related field (Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Seven (7) or more years of Controls or Electrical Engineering experience in industrial or material-handling environment, with previous management experience.
- Travel: Up to 20% domestic and international travel, as required.
- Demonstrated experience supporting full design-to-production project lifecycles.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to manage interpersonal conflict.
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Step 7, or equivalent knowledge.
