Expert Environmental Management (M/F/D)*
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing, managing, coordinating and continuously improving the Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001:2015. This forms an integral part of the Integrated Management System (IMS). In addition, you will ensure compliance with standards, legislation and the IMS, as well as the systematic improvement of the company’s environmental performance.

What you'll be handling:
- Design, maintenance and further development of the environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001, in collaboration with our ISO department
- Definition and further development of the methodology for assessing environmental aspects, risks and opportunities
- Coordination of environmental objectives, environmental programmes and relevant KPIs
- Planning, organising and conducting internal and external audits
- Acting as the central point of contact for certification bodies, authorities and external specialist bodies
- Ensuring compliance with normative, legal and internal environmental requirements
- Initiating, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of corrective and improvement measures
- Presenting management review and escalating non-conformities to top management
What you'll need:
- A degree in environmental management, environmental engineering, sustainability or a comparable qualification
- Professional certification such as ISO 14001 Lead Auditor or willingnes to obtain is highly preferred
- Knowledge of relevant environmental legal requirements is an advantage
- Experience in establishing and further developing management systems, as well as audit and methodological skills
- Analytical skills for assessing environmental aspects, risks and key performance indicators
- A systematic and structured approach to work
- Strong communication and enforcement skills
- High integrity and sensitivity to compliance issues
