Quality manager – Supplier development (m/f)

In the position of Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be a fundamental link between our international quality management and the Purchasing department of our subsidiary in Wels. As integral part of our quality-oriented and consistent supplier management, you will guarantee the required delivery quality and contribute to internal improvement processes and projects.

TASKS

  • Monitoring of sampling processes during new developments and supplier changes

  • Assistance in selecting suppliers, including risk evaluation

  • Contribution to supplier development (creation of action plans)

  • Involvement in auditing and visiting suppliers

  • Continuous communication with our suppliers

  • Implementation and negotiation of the quality assurance agreement with the Strategic Purchasing department

  • Support of our global production units in terms of supplier issues

REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully completed technical and/or economic education

  • Profound technical understanding required in any case

  • Several years of job experience, preferably in fields such as quality management, quality assurance or purchasing

  • Good command of English (minimum required level: B2 according to the CEFR)

  • Structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as decisiveness

  • High intercultural competence as well as willingness to travel abroad (about 30 %)
