Retrofit Project Manager (m/f)

As project manager you will manage the realisation process of extensions and retrofits at our customers' logistics centres in Switzerland, respectively the D-A-CH region, and be responsible for the technical and economic result of orders. You will be supported by a team of specialists.

TASKS

  • Support of and collaboration with the Sales department regarding technical equipment and schedules
  • Project management for signed contracts, organisation and leading of project teams
  • Communication interface between customer, project-related expert team, suppliers and construction team
  • Project responsibility concerning performance, schedule, function and costs, from award of contract to final acceptance
  • Coordination and optimisation of interdisciplinary tasks (IT, controls, mechanics, purchase)
  • Scheduling, creation of functional specification, change management and establishment of purchasing scenario
  • Creation of tender documents for sub-equipment, assignment and leading of acceptances
  • Coordination and supervision of construction sites, system installation, commissioning and final acceptance

REQUIREMENTS

  • Profound technical education (e.g. Mechatronics, Automation Engineering)
  • Higher education (Higher Technical College or University)
  • First relevant job experience, ideally in plant construction and engineering
  • Experience in project management
  • Command of English desirable, French and Italian of advantage
  • High degree of self-initiative
  • Result orientation and organisational skills
  • Target- and customer-oriented acting
  • Interdisciplinary way of thinking
  • Good communication skills and stress resistance
  • Willingness to travel - mostly in Switzerland, but also in the D-A-CH region
  • (30% - 50% of working time)
