Software Engineering Lead (M/F/D)*
The Software Engineering Lead is a leadership position that guides multi-disciplinary team members in all aspects of software engineering including development, testing, commissioning, and support. This role reports to and supports a Software Engineering Manager in leading a multi-disciplinary group of team members in day-to-day task management, training, and career development.

What you’ll be handling
- Provide dedicated training and mentorship to direct reports, fostering professional growth
- Conduct code reviews and mentor team members for best practices
- Serve as a subject matter technical expert to the direct reports
- Perform as an individual contributor to assigned projects at a reduced capacity
- Collaborate with project team members to deliver high quality and successful software implementations that meet the business goals of the customer
- Write and review technical specifications for custom modifications
What you’ll need
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 3 plus years of software engineering experience. Experience leading teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring team members for best practices is preferred.
- Travel: Up to 25% domestic and international travel.
- Experience with integrated development environment(s) (IDEs)
- Strong understanding of TGW Systems processes and solution implementation
- Familiarity with software development principles, agile methods, unit testing, and automated and functional testing.
