Innovation Robotics Manager (M/F/D)*

To strengthen our innovation team, we are looking for an Innovation Robotics Manager with a strategic view and a sound understanding of robotics and autonomous systems.

In this role, you will identify, structure and evaluate robotics-related innovation fields along real customer and process needs - and translate them into decision-ready options for our innovation management and strategic decision-making processes of the company. You don't think of robotics as an isolated technology, but as a strategic lever for end-to-end processes in intralogistics systems - with a clear focus on customer added value, scalability and long-term differentiation.

  • Early validation of hypotheses together with customers, internal experts and external partners – including classification of business impact, scalability and strategic relevance (without responsibility for product development or implementation)
  • Establishment and moderation of an internal robotics think tank to pool knowledge, classify technological developments and establish a consistent strategic view of robotics within innovation management
  • Close cooperation with R&D, engineering, product management and external partners to evaluate robotics-related innovation topics in a structured way and to bring them into the innovation agenda

What you'll need:

  • Ability to evaluate technological concepts from a process, system and business perspective and translate them into strategic options
  • Experience in innovation, structured evaluation of initiatives, concept development or technology evaluation – ideally an advantage in the context of complex B2B system solutions
  • Strong strategic and entrepreneurial thinking as well as confidence in dealing with uncertainty and open questions
